Circuit Design
My partner and I designed two circuits, one digital and one analog. For our analog circuit, we designed a Unity-Gain Second-Order Sallen-Key Butterworth Filter designed to achieve unity gain while providing a flat passband and a cutoff frequency of 4000 Hz. For our digital circuit, we designed a limited counter that uses combinational logic and a JK flip-flop to reset the count to zero once it reaches a predefined maximum value set by a 4-bit DIP switch.
